Vice Chair Anderegg called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
H.B. 97 Children with Cancer Special License Plate (Rep. R. Edwards)
Rep. Edwards explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Krystal Hansen. A handout "Childhood Cancer in Utah" was provided to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Cunningham moved to amend the bill as follows:

MOTION: Rep. Cunningham moved to pass H.B. 97 out favorably as amended. The motion passed unanimously.
H.B. 189 Motor Vehicle Impound Amendments (Rep. S. Handy)
Rep. Handy explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Wayne Jones, Used Car Dealers Association.
MOTION: Rep. Westwood moved to replace H.B. 189 with 1st Substitute H.B. 189. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Christofferson moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 189 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Christofferson moved to place 1st Substitute H.B. 189 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.
H.B. 80 Vehicle Impound Amendments (Rep. F. Cox)
Rep. Cox explained the bill to the committee.
