Chair Anderson called the meeting to order at 3:55 p.m.

MOTION:       Rep. DiCaro moved to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2016, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Christofferson and Rep. Cunningham absent for the vote.

Rep. Draxler assumed the chair.

H.B. 209           Public Transit District Board County Appointment Amendments (Rep. Johnny Anderson)

Rep. Anderson explained the bill to the committee assisted by Salt Lake County Mayor, Ben McAdams.

MOTION:       Rep. King moved to pass H.B. 209 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Christofferson absent for the vote.

Chair Anderson resumed the chair.

H.B. 243           Public Transit District Officers Amendments (Rep. E. Redd)

Rep. Redd explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Doug Thompson, Cache Valley Transit District.

Spoke for the bill:          Todd Beutler, General Manager Cache Valley Transit District

MOTION:       Rep. King moved to pass H.B. 243 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:       Rep. Draxler moved to place H.B. 243 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:       Rep. Draxler moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Anderson adjourned the meeting at 4:09 p.m.
