7     LONG TITLE
8     General Description:
9           This bill amends a restriction on the provision of county recorder services.
10     Highlighted Provisions:
11          This bill:
12          ▸      removes a restriction on the provision of county recorder services in certain
13     circumstances .

20          17-21-18, as last amended by Laws of Utah 1999, Chapter 85

22     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23          Section 1. Section 17-21-18 is amended to read:
24          17-21-18. Fees must be paid in advance.
25           [The] Unless the county uses an electronic payment system, the recorder may not record
26     any instrument, furnish any copies, or provide any service connected with the office, until the
27     fees prescribed by law have been paid.
