8 General Description:
9 This bill enacts provisions relating to abortion.
10 Highlighted Provisions:

12 ▸ prohibits an abortion from being performed after the unborn child reaches 15 weeks
13 gestational age except under certain circumstances; and

23 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. Section 76-7-302.5 is enacted to read:
25 76-7-302.5. Circumstances under which abortion prohibited.
26 Notwithstanding any other provision of this part, an abortion may not be performed
27 after the unborn child reaches 15 weeks gestational age unless the abortion is permissible for a
28 reason described in Subsection 76-7-302(3)(b).
