7     LONG TITLE
8     General Description:
9          This bill provides for discounted hunting, fishing, or combination licenses for disabled
10     veterans.
11     Highlighted Provisions:
12          This bill:
13          ▸     provides for discounted hunting, fishing, or combination licenses for disabled
14     veterans; and
15          ▸     makes technical changes.

24     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25          Section 1. Section 23-19-38.3 is amended to read:
26          23-19-38.3. Licenses for disabled veterans -- Free or reduced price.
27          (1) The division [may] shall make rules in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah
28     Administrative Rulemaking Act, under which a veteran with a disability may receive a hunting,
29     fishing, or combination license free or at a reduced price.
30          (2) In making rules under this section, the division shall [utilize]:
31          (a) use the same guidelines for disability as the United States Department of Veterans
32     Affairs[.]; and
33          (b) provide at a minimum a reduction under this section of 25% of the full fee.
