7     LONG TITLE
8     General Description:
9          This bill enacts provisions related to Medicaid reimbursements to public schools.
10     Highlighted Provisions:
11          This bill:
12          ▸     provides that, beginning on January 1, 2021, the State Board of Education may
13     submit Medicaid reimbursement requests on behalf of public schools for allowable
14     administrative costs.

23     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24          Section 1. Section 53G-7-217 is enacted to read:
25          53G-7-217. Local education agency Medicaid reimbursements.
26          Beginning January 1, 2021, the state board may, on behalf of an LEA:
27          (1) enter into an agreement for Medicaid reimbursement for administrative costs; and
28          (2) submit administrative reimbursement requests as allowed by the Medicaid program.
