8     General Description:
9          This bill amends poll hour provisions for early voting.
10     Highlighted Provisions:
11          This bill:
12          ▸     removes the poll hour closing requirement on the last day of early voting.

21     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
22          Section 1. Section 20A-3-602 is amended to read:
23          20A-3-602. Hours for early voting.
24          (1) Except as provided in Section 20A-1-308, the election officer shall determine the
25     times for opening and closing the polls for each day of early voting provided that[: (a)] voting
26     is open for a minimum of four hours during each day that polls are open during the early voting
27     period[; and].
28          [(b) polls shall close at 5 p.m. on the last day of the early voting period.]
29          (2) Except as provided in Section 20A-1-308, each registered voter who arrives at the
30     polls before the time scheduled for closing of the polls shall be allowed to vote.
