8 General Description:
9 This bill enacts requirements for vaccination of dogs.

22 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23 Section 1. Section 18-3-101 is enacted to read:

25 18-3-101. Vaccination requirements.
26 (1) A person who sells a dog that is under the age of one year shall, at the time of sale,
27 provide to the buyer a certificate from a veterinarian that demonstrates that the dog has
28 received vaccination against:
29 (a) distemper;
30 (b) hepatitis or adenovirus;
31 (c) parainfluenza; and
32 (d) parvovirus.
33 (2) A person who sells a dog that is over the age of four months and under the age of
34 one year shall, at the time of sale, provide to the buyer a certificate from a veterinarian that
35 demonstrates that the dog has received a vaccination against rabies.
