7     LONG TITLE
8     General Description:
9          This bill requires the Office of Recovery Services to report overdue support over
10     $10,000 in certain circumstances.
11     Highlighted Provisions:
12          This bill:
13          ▸     allows the attorney general and certain county and district attorneys to request
14     information from the Office of Recovery Services concerning overdue support over
15     $10,000.

24     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25          Section 1. Section 62A-11-334 is enacted to read:
26          62A-11-334. Reporting past-due support for criminal prosecution.
27          (1) (a) Upon request from an official described in Subsection (1)(b), the office shall
28     report the name of an obligor who is over $10,000 delinquent in the payment of support and the
29     amount of overdue support owed by the obligor to an obligee.

30          (b) The following officials may request the information described in Subsection (1)(a):
31          (i) the attorney general;
32          (ii) a county attorney in whose jurisdiction the obligor's obligee resides; or
33          (iii) a district attorney in whose jurisdiction the obligor's obligee resides.
34          (2) The office shall make the report described in Subsection (1) no later than 30 days
35     after the day on which the office receives the request for information.
