7     LONG TITLE
8     General Description:
9          This bill modifies the regulatory authority of a county.
10     Highlighted Provisions:
11          This bill:
12          ▸     authorizes a county of the first or second class to make regulations regarding the
13     discharge of firearms, rockets, powder, or any other dangerous or combustible
14     materials; and
15          ▸     makes technical changes.

24     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25          Section 1. Section 17-50-304 is amended to read:
26          17-50-304. Police, building, sanitary, and dangerous materials regulations.
27          [A county may make and enforce within] Within the limits of the county[,] and outside

28     the limits of cities and towns, each county:
29          (1) may make and enforce all such local, police, building, and sanitary regulations as
30     are not in conflict with general laws[.]; and
31          (2) of the first or second class may regulate and prevent the discharge of firearms,
32     rockets, powder, Ĥ→ [
fireworks in accordance with Section 53-7-225,] ←Ĥ or any other dangerous
