7     LONG TITLE
8     General Description:
9          This bill extends the sunset date of provisions related to lane filtering.
10     Highlighted Provisions:

21     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
22          Section 1. Section 63I-1-241 is amended to read:
23          63I-1-241. Repeal dates, Title 41.
24          (1) Subsection 41-1a-1201(9), related to the Spinal Cord and Brain Injury
25     Rehabilitation Fund, is repealed January 1, 2025.
26          (2) Section 41-3-106, which creates an advisory board related to motor vehicle
27     business regulation, is repealed July 1, 2024.
28          (3) The following subsections addressing lane filtering are repealed on July 1, [2022]
29     2027:

30          (a) Subsection 41-6a-102(30) that defines "lane filtering";
31          (b) Subsection 41-6a-704(5); and
32          (c) Subsection 41-6a-710(1)(c).
33          (4) Subsection 41-6a-1406(6)(b)(iii), related to the Spinal Cord and Brain Injury
34     Rehabilitation Fund, is repealed January 1, 2025.
35          (5) Subsections 41-22-2(1) and 41-22-10(1)(a), which create the Off-highway Vehicle
36     Advisory Council, are repealed July 1, 2027.
37          (6) Subsection 41-22-8(3), related to the Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Rehabilitation
38     Fund, is repealed January 1, 2025.
