23 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. Section 53G-6-805 is enacted to read:
25 53G-6-805. Parental right to school comparison.
26 (1) Parents have the right to compare school performance in a given area.
27 (2) The state board shall provide an online tool that allows parents to:
28 (a) search for schools within a given radius of a specific location or within the
29 boundaries of a school district; and
30 (b) view a side-by-side comparison of data related to schools in the area described in
31 Subsection (2)(a), including the indicators required in Subsection 53E-5-211(1).
32 Section 2. Effective date.
33 This bill takes effect on January 1, 2023.
