9     General Description:
10          This bill amends the vehicle registration process.
11     Highlighted Provisions:

22     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23          Section 1. Section 41-1a-210.5 is amended to read:
24          41-1a-210.5. Government-issued identification required on new registrations.
25          [The division, before issuing any new registration on the sale of a vehicle not sold by a
26     vehicle dealer, shall require the applicant or person making the application to show proof that
27     the applicant or person making the application has a valid driver license.] Subject to Section
28     63G-15-201, the division, before issuing any new registration on a vehicle, shall require that
29     the applicant provide valid government-issued identification.
