12     General Description:
13          This bill extends the sunset date for provisions authorizing the insurance commissioner
14     to coordinate with other entities regarding certain insurance regulations.
15     Highlighted Provisions:
16          This bill:
17          ▸     extends the sunset date for provisions authorizing the insurance commissioner to:
18               •     adopt an agreement with certain entities within or outside the state to address
19     certain insurance regulations; and
20               •     negotiate an interstate compact to address issuance of certain insurance
21     certificates of authority; and
22          ▸     makes technical changes.

31     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
32          Section 1. Section 63I-1-231 is amended to read:
33          63I-1-231. Repeal dates: Title 31A.
34          [(1)] Section 31A-2-217, Coordination with other states, is repealed July 1, [2023]
35     2033.
36          [(2) Section 31A-22-615.5 is repealed July 1, 2022.]
