9     General Description:
10          This bill addresses the State Fish Hatchery Maintenance Account.
11     Highlighted Provisions:
12          This bill:
13          ▸     modifies the amount of money to be deposited into the State Fish Hatchery
14     Maintenance Account; and
15          ▸     makes technical changes.

24     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25          Section 1. Section 23-15-14 is amended to read:
26          23-15-14. State Fish Hatchery Maintenance Account -- Contents -- Use of account
27     money.
28          (1) There is created a restricted account within the General Fund known as the "State
29     Fish Hatchery Maintenance Account."
30          (2) The following money shall be deposited into the account:
31          (a) [$2.00] $4 of each fishing license fee or combination license fee; and
32          (b) interest and earnings on account money.
33          (3) Money in the account shall be used by the division, after appropriation by the
34     Legislature, for major repairs or replacement of facilities and equipment at fish hatcheries
35     owned and operated by the division for the production and distribution of fish to enhance sport
36     fishing opportunities in the state.
