8 General Description:
9 This bill allows the Driver License Division to negotiate and enter into a driver license
10 reciprocity agreement with a foreign jurisdiction.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 ▸ allows the Driver License Division to negotiate and enter into a driver license
14 reciprocity agreement with a foreign jurisdiction; and
15 ▸ grants rulemaking authority to the Driver License Division to establish the
16 reciprocity program.

25 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
26 Section 1. Section 53-3-110 is enacted to read:
27 53-3-110. Reciprocity agreements.
28 (1) The division may negotiate and enter into an agreement of reciprocity with a
29 foreign jurisdiction or country to facilitate the exchange of a driver license.
30 (2) In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the
31 division may make rules to establish the process for creating, entering into, and maintaining a
32 reciprocity agreement.
