8     General Description:
9          This bill amends provisions related to the Utah Seismic Safety Commission.
10     Highlighted Provisions:

12          ▸     extends the sunset date of provisions related to the Utah Seismic Safety
13     Commission; and
14          ▸     makes technical changes.

30     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
31          Section 1. Section 63I-1-253 (Superseded 07/01/24) is amended to read:
32          63I-1-253 (Superseded 07/01/24). Repeal dates: Titles 53 through 53G.
33          (1) Section 53-2a-105, which creates the Emergency Management Administration
34     Council, is repealed July 1, 2027.

269     Opportunity to issue an amount of tax credit certificates only for rural productions, is repealed
270     on July 1, 2024.
271          Section 5. Effective date.
272          (1) Except as provided in Subsection (2), this bill takes effect on May 1, 2024.

274     take effect on July 1, 2024.
275          (b) The actions affecting Section 63I-1-253 (Contingently Effective 01/01/25)
