12          This bill modifies provisions related to phased retirement.

14          This bill:
15          ▸     repeals the scheduled expiration of phased retirement as a benefit under the Utah
16     State Retirement and Insurance Benefit Act.

25     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
26          Section 1. Section 63I-1-249 is amended to read:
27          63I-1-249. Repeal dates: Title 49.
28          [(1) Title 49, Chapter 11, Part 13, Phased Retirement, is repealed January 1, 2025.]
29          [(2)] Section 49-20-418 is repealed January 1, 2025.
30          Section 2. Effective date.
31          This bill takes effect on May 1, 2024.
