8 General Description:
9 This bill enacts a conditional disclosure requirement on health care providers who
10 administer certain vaccinations.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 ▸ requires health care providers who administer certain vaccinations to disclose any
14 additional compensation the provider expects to receive for administering the
15 vaccination or vaccinations.

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 26B-4-321.1 is enacted to read:
26 26B-4-321.1. Disclosure of vaccination compensation.
27 If a health care provider is subject to receive additional compensation or payment in
28 exchange for administering a vaccine or vaccines, the health care provider shall, before
29 administering the vaccine, disclose to the patient or the patient's guardian the nature and
30 amount of the additional compensation the health care provider is subject to receive.
31 Section 2. Effective date.
32 This bill takes effect on May 1, 2024.
