7     LONG TITLE
8     General Description:
9          This bill amends provisions on the school plant capital outlay report.
10     Highlighted Provisions:
11          This bill:
12          ▸     removes a school district or charter school annual school plant capital outlay
13     reporting requirement.

22     Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
23          Section 1. Section 53E-3-705 is amended to read:
24          53E-3-705. School plant capital outlay report.
25          [(1)] The state board shall prepare an annual school plant capital outlay report of all
26     school districts, which includes information on the number and size of building projects
27     completed and under construction.
28          [(2) A school district or charter school shall prepare and submit an annual school plant
29     capital outlay report to the state auditor on or before a date designated by the state auditor.]
30          Section 2. Effective date.
31          This bill takes effect on May 1, 2024.
