8 General Description:
9 This bill amends provisions regarding the number of judges in each judicial district.
10 Highlighted Provisions:
11 This bill:
12 ▸ increases the number of district court judges in the Third Judicial District;
13 ▸ increases the number of juvenile court judges in the Fourth Judicial District; and
14 ▸ makes technical and conforming changes.

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 78A-1-103 is amended to read:
26 78A-1-103. Number of district judges.
27 The number of district court judges [
28 (1) four district court judges in the First Judicial District;
29 (2) 14 district court judges in the Second Judicial District;
30 (3) [
31 (4) 13 district court judges in the Fourth Judicial District;
32 (5) seven district court judges in the Fifth Judicial District;
33 (6) two district court judges in the Sixth Judicial District;
34 (7) three district court judges in the Seventh Judicial District; and
35 (8) three district court judges in the Eighth Judicial District.
36 Section 2. Section 78A-1-104 is amended to read:
