Buxton LONG TITLE General Description: This bill requires the Division of Professional Licensing to provide certain sample contracts. Highlighted Provisions: This bill: requires that the Division of Professional Licensing provide one or more sample contracts for use in both new residential construction and residential remodels. Section 1, Section 58-55-107 is enacted to read: 58-55-107. Sample contracts for new construction and remodels. The Division of Professional Licensing shall draft and make publicly available one or more sample contracts for use in new residential construction and residential remodels.

Section 2. Effective date. This bill takes effect on May 1, 2024.
