Legislative Information Technology
The Legislative Information Technology (LegIT) office provides a comprehensive suite of technology products and services to the entire Utah Legislature. Our customers include both legislators and legislative staff. Our functions are divided into two main categories: operations and development.
Our Operations team provides desktop and server support, local and wide area networking, database management, cyber security, telephone services, and committee room technology support.
Our Development team includes website design and creation; new application development; legacy system modification, support, and operations; and project management services.
Together, we bring the Utah Legislature to Utah citizens and vice-versa. Our custom applications, cutting-edge equipment, and advanced knowledge of operations and process allow greater transparency and access to the policymaking process while at the same time improving the efficiency and effectiveness of legislative staff and elected officials.
