HB0279 - Individual Income Tax - Personal Exemptions Amendments

State Impact:
Passage of this bill could increase the Uniform School Fund by $6,000,000 in FY 2002 and by $5,700,000 in FY 2003.

Individual and Business Impact:
Individuals claiming two or less personal exemptions would receive a tax break of $9.80 per exemption. Those claiming three or more would see an increase in taxes paid of $9.80 for each exemption claimed.
