Individual and Business Impact:
Individuals who wish to stop using tobacco could benefit from the additional funds devoted to programs at the Health Department. Individuals who might have begun smoking but don't as a result of these programs will benefit from this appropriation. Individuals could potentially benefit from cancer research and treatment. Contractors and suppliers of goods associated with these programs will benefit from the additional funding for these programs.
