State Impact:
General Fund revenue from fees would be reduced by approximately $307,000. Concurrently the permitting section would require $88,000 less in appropriation and the staff FTE count would be reduced by 2.

Individual and Business Impact:
Gun owners would no longer be required to obtain a permit saving both time and fees. Firearm instructors would no longer be required for certification classes and therefore loose that income.
