HB0352 - Environmental Quality Regulation of Discharge into Groundwater

State Impact:
This bill requires a ground water discharge permit for all radioactive material waste facilities. The bill also requires the board to establish rules for underground discharges. It is estimated that one FTE will be required to administer provisions of the bill. An appropriation of $95,500 from the General Fund will be required in FY 2002.

Individual and Business Impact:
Individuals and business that require permits under provisions of this bill will have cost associated with obtaining the permit.
