Fiscal Note

SB0060 - Uniform Athlete Agents Act

State Impact:
It is estimated that this bill will increase revenue to the Commerce Service Fund by approximately $32,500 initially and $25,000 per year thereafter from licensing fees. It will require an appropriation of $61,000 from the Commerce Service Fund to the Department of Commerce to implement the provisions of the bill. Included in this amount is $28,500 that may be paid by the Department for legal services provided by the Attorney General's Office. Appropriations from the Commerce Service Fund affect the amount available for transfer to the General Fund. The General Fund reduction of $28,500 is the net difference between the amount appropriated and the revenue generated by the bill.
