SB0168s2 - Certain Municipal Services in First Class Counties

State Impact:
No state fiscal impact. This bill will shift responsibility for detective services including taxing authority and revenue from first class counties to municipalities within the county. The total shift from Salt Lake County is $4,400,000.
Individual and Business Impact:
Some property tax payers may see a decrease while others may see an increase according to where they live and what options municipalities exercise.
