SB0172 - Postconviction DNA Testing

State Impact:
Passage of this bill would require an appropriation to the Courts of $28,000 in FY 2002 and $11,200 each year thereafter. The Attorney General's Office would also require an appropriation of $28,300 annually. There may be some savings to state and local governments if inmates are released as a result of the provisions of this bill.
