State Impact:
The provisions of this bill may result in a net loss of Commerce Service Fund revenue of approximately $12,200 for the remainder of FY 2002. A program reduction of $12,200 from the Department of Commerce will offset this revenue loss.

Individual and Business Impact:
Provisions of this bill will increase revenue from television, broadcasting and motion picture rights by 4 percent to the owners and promoters. Gross receipts from admission fees kept by the promoters will be reduced by 1 percent. The reduction in revenue to the State may result in less grants to qualified organizations.
