2. Equal Employment Opportunity
The Legislative Management Committee recently heard a report from the Department of Human Resource Management concerning an equal employment opportunity plan for state employment. The Legislative Management Committee requested that the Government Operations Interim Committee review the statutory provisions governing this issue.

3. State Armory Board
The Committee reviewed this issue at its June 19, 2002 meeting and recommended legislation be drafted to repeal obsolete sections and codify current practices. The Committee will review draft legislation at this meeting.

4. Recodification of GOPB (Governor's Office of Planning and Budget)

5. Statewide Initiatives
The Utah Supreme Court recently issued an opinion which declares unconstitutional portions of Utah's initiative law. The Committee will be briefed on and discuss the opinion.
