Agency: MSP - One-time Initiatives

Function

The One-time Programs section of the Minimum School Program is a catch-all for all one-time projects appropriated by the Legislature that benefit school districts and charter schools. One-time projects vary each year, but generally include programs that can be completed within the upcoming fiscal year. However, the Legislature has appropriated one-time funding to support ongoing programs over a defined time-frame.

Each year, the Legislature appropriates one-time funding to reimburse teachers for out-of-pocket expenditures on supplies and materials. The Teacher Supplies and Materials Program is the only One-time Program funded consecutively for more than three fiscal years.
