HB0285 - Appropriation for Highly Qualified Teachers
State Impact:
Provisions of this bill provide for a one-time Uniform School Fund appropriation to the State Board of Education of $500,000 to assist teachers in becoming highly qualified. Bill provisions further require participating school districts and charter schools to provide matching funds in order to qualify for the grants.
