SB0209 - Waste Fee Amendments
State Impact:
This bill reduces the annual transfer from the Environmental Quality Restricted Account to the General Fund by $100,000. The fees paid by non hazardous solid waste disposal operators are changed by the bill with a net annual loss estimated to be $32,800 to the Environmental Quality Restricted Account. Though no effective date is provided in the bill it is anticipated that the fiscal impact would begin in FY 2007.

Individual and Business Impact:
Nonhazardous solid waste disposal operators fees will be changed by the bill. Some are estimated to pay higher fees while others may realize a savings in the fees they are required to pay.
