SB0008 - Use of State Engineer Fees

State Impact:
Enactment of this bill alone would not have fiscal impact on the Division. Any new funding, as authorized by this bill, will have to be first appropriated by the Legislature. Approximately $190,000 per year from fee revenues could be used for reports of water right conveyance, which are currently unused and deposited to the General Fund. Should the Legislature choose to appropriate new funding, as authorized by this bill, there will be a reduction in the amount deposited into the General Fund.
