Enactment of this bill will require additional appropriations of approximately $859,000 in FY 2009 and $936,000 in FY 2010. The FY 2009 appropriation is $172,000 General Fund and $687,000 Federal Funds. The FY 2010 appropriation is $187,000 General Fund and $749,000 Federal Funds. Costs in the future may decrease because of potential competition between an increased number of ambulatory surgical center providers.
