SB0145 - State Family Day Holiday
State Impact:
Enactment of this bill will require an appropriation of $157,800 to compensate state employees working overtime or excess hours during the holiday and will decrease the revenue to the Liquor Control Fund and ultimately revenue to the General Fund by $751,000 through closure of the state liquor stores on that day. The addition of a state holiday will also result in approximately $4 million of lost state employee productivity.
