Enactment of this bill likely will not materially impact the state budget.
Local Governments (UCA 36-12-13(2)(c)):
Enactment of this bill is estimated to reduce county property tax revenues by $76,700 in FY 2013 and by $77,500 in FY 2014.
Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
Individuals and businesses owning off-highway vehicles with an implement of husbandry sticker will no longer have to pay county property taxes on these vehicles. The projected total savings for those individuals and business in FY 2013 is $76,700 and in FY 2014 is $77,500.
