School districts and charter schools may receive a civil penalty of $10,000 or treble damages if the statutory provisions outlined in this bill are violated.

Direct Expenditures by Utah Residents and Businesses (UCA 36-12-13(2)(d)):
School principals may receive a civil penalty of $1,000 if the statutory provisions outlined in this bill are violated.
