HB0019 - State Issued Identification Numbers

State Government (UCA 36-12-13(2)(b)):
Provisions of this bill require state entities to use individual client identifiers that are not Social Security numbers or nine digit identifiers. Many state agencies and education institutions currently use nine digits for identification of their clients. The cost to reissue other than nine digit identifiers and reprogram data systems to recognize the new identifiers is estimated to be $10,627,100 one-time from the General Fund.
