Agency: University of Utah Line Item: Center on Aging Function The Utah Center on Aging was authorized to be placed within the University of Utah with the passage of Senate Bill 26 during the 2007 General Session. The bill provded authorization for the Center through July 1, 2009. During the 2009 Gerneral Session, the sunset date was extended to July 1, 2012, however no additional appropriations of state funding have been made since FY 2010.
Statutory Authority The following statute applies to the Utah Commission on Aging in addition to the laws previously mentioned: - UCA 63M-11-203 Defines and outlines the duties of the Utah Commission on Aging.
