Please first fund the following basic public education needs before considering new projects, like HB131:
- Fully fund new student growth.
- A minimum 2.5% increase on the WPU.
- Social Security/retirement as a separate line item.
- Restore 2 days of educator professional development
- Create Paid-planning days for teachers over the summer.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE TEACHERS AND WE WILL MAKE THAT SAME DIFFERENCE FOR OUR STUDENTS.
