The petition states:"Do not spend $2 million of our taxpayer dollars to fight a losing battle against marriage equality. Take that money and feed the homeless, stock the food banks, clothe the poor and do something to improve the lives of your fellow man."
My additional comments are:
"Gay Rights" is the Civil Rights issue of this century. Do not be on the losing battle of equality for all. It is done. You can still say in truth that it was not your fault, but let it rest. I pray you will lose if you fight it.
