The annual Utah Energy 101 forum will be held on Tuesday, January 7th from 6-7:30 at the Alta Club. This year's discussions will include: residential solar and how electrons get sent back to the grid (Net Metering); oil & gas production trends and air quality challenges in the Uinta Basin; nuclear power trends including challenges regarding storage and waste; and oil shale nearing commercialization. We will also have a Q&A session with agency heads who deal with energy.
