Good morning Todd:
Margaret was our law clerk when we successfully defended Dr. Robert Weitzel on 5 counts of murder before Judge Rodney Page in Davis County. Margaret was fantastic. We were up against both the Davis County attorney's office and the Atty. Gen.'s office. This was one time that we believed we had better research and memoranda writing then the State on the many issues that arose pretrial and during trial. Margaret did a terrific job for us.
I cannot say enough good things about Margaret. She's a lovely person. She has a great deal of civil experience now, having been the city attorney in Salt Lake City and holding a similar position for Park City.
I'm convinced that she will be a terrific appellate judge.
