APPROPRIATION FOR PIONEER DISPLAY
2 1997 GENERAL SESSION
3 STATE OF UTAH

5 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $20,000 TO THE DIVISION
6 OF FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION AND MANAGEMENT FOR A STATE CAPITOL
7 EXHIBIT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
8 This act enacts uncodified material.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 Section 1. Appropriation.
11 There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 1996-97 $20,000 to the
12 Division of Facilities Construction and Management S [to be distributed to the Pioneers of
12a Progress
13 Awards Committee ] s to construct an exhibit in the state capitol honoring present and past Utah
14 citizens who have made significant scientific and technological contributions to the history of Utah
15 or who, over the course of their lifetime, made significant contributions to their community.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this act takes effect
18 upon approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah
19 Constitution Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto, the
20 date of veto override.
