8 DIVISION FOR NEW FIELD TROOPERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 1997-98 S [$2,800,000] [$200,000]
12a $350,000 s to the Utah
13 Highway Patrol Division of the Department of Public Safety for 40 new field troopers.
14 Section 2. Effective date.
15 This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
