6 GENERAL FUND FOR 1997-98 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN OUTDOOR ARENA AT
7 THE WEBER COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
8 This act enacts uncodified material.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 Section 1. Appropriation.
11 There is appropriated S [$1,700,000] $500,000 s from the General Fund for fiscal year
11a 1997-98 to the
12 Department of Community and Economic Development for use in construction of an outdoor arena
13 at the Weber County Fairgrounds, to help fulfill the statewide public need for facilities that attract
14 tourism and encourage economic growth.
15 Section 2. Effective date.
16 This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
