SEVIER VALLEY SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER

AN ACT RELATING TO CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; AFFIRMING
SUPPORT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SEVIER VALLEY SPECIAL
EVENTS CENTER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
This act enacts uncodified material.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Intent.
It is the intent of the Legislature that funding be provided through bonding as provided in
S.B. 2, 1997 Bonding and Debt Financing Authorization, for construction of the Sevier Valley
Special Events Center, to help fulfill the statewide public purpose of meeting the cultural and
recreational needs of the citizens of the state.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
